PRIVACY POLICY

Premise

 This legal notice is made pursuant to and in accordance with article 13 of Legislative Decree 196/2003 – code regarding the protection of personal data – of those who interact with IOS s.r.l. services through the website www.ios-srl.com. 
The information provided is also based on the guidelines contained in Recommendation no. 2/2001, which was adopted on 17 May 2001 by the European data protection authorities in order to lay down minimum requirements for the collection of personal data online.

Data Controller.

The controller of the user’s identifiable and non-identifiable personal data is Ios s.r.l., located in via Cavour 52/C – 23900 Lecco.

Place where the data is processed 

The processing operations related to this web site services are carried out at the office of Ios s.r.l.by the Ios s.r.l. staff in charge of said processing.

Data types and scope of processing.

a) Navigation data.

During normal operation the computer systems and software procedures used to operate the site acquire personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of internet communication protocols. 
These data are not collected to be associated with identified users, but by their very nature could, through processing and association with data in the possession of the Controller or third parties, allow users to be identified. 
This category of data includes IP addresses or domain names of the user’s computer connecting to the site, the URIs of the resources requested, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in reply, the numerical code indicating the status of the reply given by the server (successful, error, etc.) and other parameters regarding the operating system and computer environment. 
This information may be used by the Controller for the sole purpose of obtaining anonymous statistical information about the site so as to check its correct operation. The data could be used to ascertain responsibility in case of supposed computer crimes against the site.

b) Data supplied voluntarily by the user.

Completing the fields shown in the “sign up” page of this website and sending an e-mail to the indicated address is optional, explicit and voluntary, and involves acquisition by the Controller of the sender’s address, needed for replying to requests, as well as the personal data provided by filling the fields of the “sign up” section and those included in the message. 
Data may be used only with the user’s specific consent for statistical analysis, to inform the user about the organisation of new courses of for commercial reasons. Without a specific legal notice the personal data provided by the user will be used exclusively for answering the e-mail received and to enrol the user to the course.

c) Cookies.

No cookies are used to transmit information of a personal nature, nor are so-called persistent cookies of any kind or user tracing systems. The use of so-called session cookies (which are not stored permanently on the user’s computer and disappear when the browser is closed) is limited strictly to transmitting session identifiers (consisting of random numbers generated by the server) necessary to allow the website to be secure and efficient. The so-called session cookies used on this site avoid the use of other technologies that could compromise the privacy of user browsing and do not allow the acquisition of personal identification data.

Optional conferment. 

Except for the data described in the “navigation data” section of this policy, the user is free to provide the personal data request in the “sign up” section of the site or request to send e-mails or information material. Failure to provide personal data will simply make it impossible to use the related services. 
It should be noted that in some cases (not subject to the routine management of this site), the Authority might request information under Article 157 of the law regarding protection of personal data for the purposes of monitoring personal data processing. In this case the reply is mandatory under penalty of a fine.

Processing methods. 

Personal data are processed by automated tools and will be preserve for the time strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which they were collected. Specific security measures are observed to prevent the loss, illicit or incorrect use of data, and unauthorized access.

Communication or diffusion of data. 

Data will be processed by employees of IOS s.r.l. and in some cases by third parties to whom Ios s.r.l. may entrust functions inherent to browsing of the site. In this case, third parties operate as independent controllers or persons in charge of data processing. In the latter case, the Controller will issue the necessary instructions to the person in charge to guarantee that data are processed in a manner that ensures confidentiality, integrity and security.

Rights of interested parties. 

The subjects whose personal data is collected are entitled at any time, in accordance with article 7 of code regarding the protection of personal data, to obtain confirmation of the existence or otherwise of such data, and to know the content and origin, verify the accuracy or request the integration or updating, or rectification (Art. 7 of Legislative Decree 192/2003). Pursuant to this article, subjects have the right to request cancellation, conversion to anonymous form or blocking of data processed in violation of the law, and in any case to oppose processing for legitimate reasons.
